The point, in one line

A club that is not a legal person cannot hold an account or sign a contract. Three routes follow from that, and only one of them is founding an association.

How it works

Your club is probably not a legal person, so in its own name it can neither hold money nor sign; three routes remain, and only the third means founding an association.

Through the facultyYou plan, the institution pays and signs. No account, no risk.
Through a partner organisationAn association or youth centre signs and reports; you run the activity.
Your own associationAt least three founders aged 18, continuous bookkeeping, annual reports.
