Sun Tzu: know yourself and the other
Preparation decides the battle: whoever knows both themselves and the other in advance usually does not have to fight at all.
The strongest move happens earlier. Sun Tzu asks four things — what your side can do, what the other side wants, the ground and the timing, the cost of dragging on — and holds that by the day of the event it is already decided.

The club is planning a big event the week before exams, because that is the only week the hall is free.
